State Finals is an exciting and large event for qualifiers from the 52 Local Senior Games to compete against the “best of the best” in the state.  With over 3,000 participants, State Finals needs more than 900 volunteers to help coordinate all 71 activities.  Whatever your specialty or area of interest, there is a volunteer position for you.  We would be delighted to have you as a State Finals volunteer.  Please invite your friends and family to come with you!

General Information

2017 State Finals

"Senior Games puts things in perspective.  Regardless of how old we get, it’s not something to fear, you can grow old gracely and still truly be as active as you want to be.  A participant told me "winning the race was not the greatest accomplishment of the day, it was living to be his age so that he could compete in the race."

“We had more fun than the participants! They taught us what dedication, perseverance and pride was all about. Really an amazing experience."   Colleen Hoetjes, Allscripts Healthcare Systems

"I love the 'bling' the sound of those medals clacking La dee dah.  I never did sports in school and feeling like a jock at my age is fun and an inspiration to future generations.  Boomers Rock!"  Doreen Blue
