Statement on Inclusion from NCSG
For over 40 years, North Carolina Senior Games has embodied a mission that promotes health and wellness for ALL persons 50 and better across our state. Through a philosophy that strives to keep ALL seniors healthy, active and involved, our work remains dedicated to UNITING older athletes and SilverArtists in a program that recognizes and enhances the values of discipline, dedication, and pride in one's accomplishments and those of our fellow competitors.
Through Local Games in all 100 counties of our state, we are a community that embraces the diversity and cultures of our citizens and denounces strongly any forces, words or actions that would harm or discriminate against people based upon race. Our PEOPLE are the "Spirit of Senior Games" and we stand together in peace in these times of unrest.
North Carolina Senior Games, Inc. does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, marital status, family status or other items protected by law.
This policy applies to all employees, volunteers, participants and spectators and any other individuals involved with a North Carolina Senior Games program.
To all the Senior Games Family -- please stay safe while being engaged to make our world, nation, state and communities more understanding and appreciative of all that connects us as a body of caring, healthy people!
